Open call to participate in the Litterarum Fair 2026

The Institut d'Estudis Baleàrics selects an artistic proposal from the Balearic Islands to be part of the official program of Litterarum - Fira d'Espectacles Literaris Móra d'Ebre 2026, which will take place from May 29 to 31, 2026.

The artistic proposals must be based on a literary work of Catalan literature. 

The IEB will cover the costs of accommodation, travel and box office of the selected work, which will be scheduled between May 29 and 31, 2026 in Móra d'Ebre.

To apply, artists and companies from the Balearic Islands who are interested must fill out the following form, open until March 3, inclusive.

LITTERARUM is a professional fair whose main objective is to bring Catalan-language literature closer to programmers and the public, through the performing arts, theater, music, dance, recital, puppetry or multidisciplinary shows, among others, which have in common having been inspired by literary texts.

This collaboration between the Institut d'Estudis Baleàrics and the Litterarum fair reaffirms the IEB's commitment to promoting Catalan literature and the performing arts and enables new opportunities for Balearic companies in nearby territories.

In 2025, an agreement was signed between both institutions in order to articulate and guarantee the participation of performing arts professionals from the Balearic Islands in the Fira Litterarum, as well as to strengthen the reciprocity between Fira B! Mercat de Música i Arts Escéniques de les Illes Balears and this event.
