The deadline for submitting artistic proposals to participate in Fira B! 2025 is from January 31 to February 28, 2025 , at 11:59 p.m., through the form or, in the case of music, also through Gigmit.
1. Performing arts proposals from companies or professionals who have performed at least 3 times outside their place of origin in a professional environment since January 2023 can be submitted to Fira B! 2025. In the case of companies from the Balearic Islands, the requirement is that they have performed at least 3 times outside their island of residence in a professional environment, since January 1, 2023.
Proposals submitted that do not meet the requirements may be considered exceptionally, provided that the committee considers it appropriate.
Productions previously scheduled for previous editions of Fira B are not accepted!
Preference will be given to companies/artists who have not performed at Fira B!
2. Artistic proposals from all performing arts disciplines (drama, gestural theatre, dance, circus, object and puppet theatre, street, new languages, etc.), of shows already produced and with possibilities of external projection, can be submitted.
3. Proposals will be reviewed by the organizers for minimum requirements and will be assessed by a committee of experts according to the following criteria:
4. The companies that are in the official program will receive financial compensation corresponding to a percentage of the artistic fee of the show that will be negotiated with the coordination of Fira B!
5. If selected, the artists will adjust to the date, location and time slot of the official programming. Fira B! reserves the right to adapt the technical specifications to each stage space, taking into account the schedules and the rest of the programming.
6. For artists (artistic team, up to two members of the technical team and a representative) who need to travel to Mallorca, travel expenses and one night's accommodation will be reimbursed, within a maximum agreed upon by the organizers. For those artists who need to travel to Mallorca and who do not have financial support from other institutions for this travel concept, travel expenses will be reimbursed (up to a maximum of €60 per person for travel between islands, €150 per person for travel from mainland Spain and €350 per person for travel from Europe) and one night's accommodation. Where applicable, freight costs may be charged up to a maximum agreed upon by the organizers.
7. All featured artists authorize professional photographs and video recordings of their performances at Fira B! 2025 for dissemination purposes, both in the media and social networks, and for archival purposes.
8. The official artistic selection will be available on the Fira B! website (www.firab.org). The programming must ensure, as far as possible, the presence of artists from all the Balearic Islands and must guarantee gender parity.
9. Theater companies that use text will provide subtitles or explanatory material in other languages (preferably in Spanish and, if the company wishes, in English) for professionals who require it, at least one month before the performance date.
10. The performances of Fira B! Performing Arts 2025 will take place on stages in Palma (Mallorca), between October 2, 3, 4 and 5, 2025.
11. The organization of Fira B! will contact the selected companies throughout the second quarter of the year (between April and June 2025).
1. Musical projects that are releasing or have released a new album or EP between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2025 may submit a proposal. Additionally, they must have performed five live concerts since January 1, 2023. In the case of artists from the Balearic Islands, one of the concerts must have taken place outside the autonomous community.
If the recording has not been published at the time of the application, it is necessary to submit documentation proving that the publication date is in accordance with the dates indicated. This documentation will be assessed by the committee and the appropriate checks may be made, if necessary.
Proposals submitted that do not meet the requirements may be considered exceptionally, provided that the committee considers it appropriate.
Proposals with the same repertoire that has been performed in any previous edition of Fira B! will not be accepted
Groups/artists who have not performed at Fira B! will have preference in case of doubt.
Showcases must necessarily include original music.
2. Applicants must have available audio material (published on digital distribution platforms) and audiovisual material (at least one of the videos must be live) and must have a website and/or social media profiles.
3. All musical genres (pop, rock, jazz, electronic, etc.) can be presented, except classical and contemporary music. Artists / groups must have the capacity to tour and other promotional events.
4. The official program will feature 30-minute showcases.
5. The programming must ensure, to the extent possible, the presence of artists from all the Balearic Islands and must guarantee gender parity, based on the criteria proposed by the Keychange movement.
6. Proposals must necessarily present a description and a CV in one of the three working languages of Fira B! (Catalan, Spanish and English), photographs, video recordings (at least one live) and an explanatory dossier at least in English.
7. All submitted proposals will be reviewed by the organizers, who will ensure that they meet the minimum criteria to participate in the fair. The proposals will then be sent to a selection committee made up of experts in the different genres who will carry out the selection according to the following criteria:

Artists featured in the official program will receive an artistic fee that will be calculated based on the number of participants in the production (artistic team and up to two members of the technical team), at a rate of €150 per person. For those artists who need to travel to Mallorca and who do not have financial support from any institution, travel expenses will be reimbursed (up to a maximum of €60 per person for travel between islands, €150 per person for travel from mainland Spain, €350 per person for travel from Europe) and one night's accommodation, or, in the case of international artists, a maximum of two if logistics make it essential. If applicable, freight costs may be charged up to a maximum agreed by the organizers. The corresponding withholdings and taxes will be applied to these amounts.
9. The technical coordination of Fira B! reserves the right to adapt the technical riders to the stage spaces, according to the schedule and the complete program.
10. The artistic selection will be available on the Fira B! website (www.firab.org).
11. All artists presented in the program authorize photographs, video recordings and streaming of their performances at Fira B! for dissemination purposes, both in the media and social networks, and for archival purposes.
