Duración: 18'
Contemporary dance performance (18 min) for street or unconventional or heritage spaces. A highly choreographic duo (Borja Bordonabe and Marina Eskisabel) based on Basque mythology, gender perspective and climate justice, an intense, non-stop journey.
Basandere lived in the forests and fell in love with a young man she met. When the human didn't reciprocate her affections upon discovering she had claws instead of feet, she foretold his imminent death, which occurred the following day. Basandere herself attended his funeral. Basajaun is the power of nature, vigorous and strong, the guardian of the forests! And her? A romantic, vengeful, and lustful being?
