Delicate Words offers us a unique opportunity to approach the world of words, to the importance of language as part of identity and personal and collective memory, an opportunity to value and recover abandoned words before it is too late and they disappear and, with them, a part of our history also disappears. An invitation to reflect on how words hold memories, ways of doing and feeling, how they can free us but also strike and condemn us.
Delicate Words tells the story of Miguel, a young man who leaves to do military service in an unknown land and is attracted by its people, its landscapes and its language. There he discovers the power of words and begins to collect and classify them. Luminous words, forgotten words, beloved words, unthought words, delicate words… A journey through the most important moments of his life narrated by Joan, a carpenter and heir to his history.
