Orgia is a dance piece that embodies the sexualized gaze and seeks ways to showcase the beauty of bodily pleasure (associated with prohibition, dissidence, and immorality). The choreographic research aims to deconstruct choreographic tools from different countercultural dances (voguing, waacking, twerk, and dancehall) to generate a stage narrative that questions the sexualized, capitalist, and heteronormative view of bodies.
The show contains scenes with flashing lights that may affect photosensitive viewers.

The Miquel Barcelona Dance Company brings together and collaborates with people, institutions and projects that work in line with these 5 areas of interest: territory, memory, sustainability, education and generation of audiences. Understanding artistic practice as a tool for social transformation, the company creates a space for close, interdisciplinary and creative encounters with the context to which it relates. It is committed to the cultural sector, the current moment and society understood as a living tension between the different agents that make it up.
