In 2026, Fira B! celebrates its 11th edition, firmly established as the leading professional gathering for music and performing arts in the Balearic Islands and one of the Mediterranean’s key platforms for cultural exchange.
Following a memorable 2025 edition, marked by artistic quality, the expansion of professional partnerships and the participation of more than 500 accredited professionals across both disciplines, alongside more than 6,000 attendees, the fair enters a new edition strengthening its international outlook and its commitment to promoting Balearic talent.
Fira B! will continue to promote the circulation of artists and companies, foster cooperation between territories and create new opportunities for connections between creators, programmers, festivals and institutions. The presence of delegations and professionals from different European countries and across the Mediterranean will once again turn the Balearic Islands into a meeting point for cultural exchange and the creation of new partnerships.
The programme will take place across two separate events: Fira B! Performing Arts, from 30 September to 3 October, and Fira B! Music, from 4 to 7 November, sharing a common goal: to consolidate the Balearic Islands as a space for professional encounters, cultural exchange and international visibility.
At regional level, this edition is supported by the Government of the Balearic Islands, Palma City Council and PalmaCultura, the Consell de Mallorca, Teatre Principal de Palma, Es Baluard Museu, IBJove, Teatre del Mar, Es Gremi and Motorworld Mallorca, among other cultural organisations and venues across the city.
Its national and international dimension is further strengthened through collaboration with institutions and networks including Acción Cultural Española (AC/E), AECID, Ibermúsicas, Euroregion Pyrenees Mediterranean, the Federation of Associations of Cultural Management Professionals, COFAE, Plataforma Jazz España, Europe Jazz Network, AIE and Fundación SGAE, as well as festivals, showcases and organisations from different territories.
This edition places particular emphasis on exchanges and collaborations with LABO XL in the field of performing arts; Emilia-Romagna Music Commission, Regione Puglia, Puglia Culture and Puglia Sounds, as part of the Italian focus at Fira B! Music; and international projects and festivals such as Jazz I Am, Mercat de Música Viva de Vic, TROVAM, Napoli World, Occijazz and Waves Vienna.
Fira B! was founded in 2015 as a showcase for performing arts from the Balearic Islands, inspired by Sea Arts (2013) and Fira Illescena (2014). In 2016, music was added to its broad programme of theatrical and performing arts disciplines. In this way, Fira B! seeks to give greater visibility to artistic proposals from the Balearic Islands, regardless of their artistic language or format.
