El Gran Cassanyes
Since the beginning of time, human beings have sought The Great Magic. Some believed they found it in the stars, in the movement of the planets, in the music of the spheres. Others discovered it in that energy that connects and moves everything. Some made it into a religion and built temples and churches. Many kept it in amulets, talismans, and traditions. And still others have brought it onto the stage, creating grand performances. But what is The Great Magic?

El Gran Cassanyes
Actor, magician, and playwright, trained in advanced studies in Illusionism at RCU Reina María Cristina in El Escorial and in Acting at ESADIB. He also trained in stage creation at Sala Beckett in Barcelona and ESTC in Lisbon.
As a magician, he has ten years of professional experience performing across Europe and has been awarded the 2022 National Prize for Comic Magic and the 2022 Portuguese International Valongo Prize.
As a playwright, he has won two first prizes and has had his work staged.
He is the director and creator of FAT I FAT, the First International Magic Festival of Mallorca.
He works on the creation of magic-theatrical pieces, using logicophobic humor and the impossible as his starting point.
